Antique Bronze Manilla Currency Bracelet African Jewellery

  
This is a stunning piece of antique bronze currency jewellery sometimes called a Manilla. I bought this great piece from a trader in the desert of Niger, West Africa and I believe it to be pure bronze, it can originate from either Niger, Mali or Burkina Faso where these pieces have been used for centuries. The dimensions are as follows approximately: internal diameter 63mm, opening 17mm and thickness 16mm, please be aware that it is heavy (675g), absolutely solid and cannot be adjusted.
