Issued in the Wake of 9-11! It is a paper EE Bond with "Patriot Bond" printed on the top half of the bond between the Social Security Number and issue date.

All EE bond terms and conditions apply. Patriot Bonds offered Americans one more way to express their support for our nation's anti-terrorism efforts. Proceeds were deposited into a general fund that supported anti-terrorism efforts. At the end of 2011, the Treasury discontinued sales of all paper EE savings bonds at financial institutions.
