REVOLUTIONARY WAR-DATED CURRENCY SIGNED BY NEW JERSEY DECLARATION SIGNER JOHN HART, ENCAPSULATED AND GRADED BY PMG. Reads in part on the recto This Bill of Six Shillings Proclamation, is emitted by a Law of the Colony of New-Jersey, passed in the Fourteenth Year of the Reign of his Majesty King George the Third. Dated March 25, 1776, " contains the cautionary message on the verso "To Counterfeit is Death, countersigned by John Stevens, Jr. And Jonathan Deare, printed in Burlington, New Jersey by Isaac Collins, issued as No. 2395, measures 4 by 2.25 inches, in very good condition with heavy wearing and soiling and Hart's signature faded, and encapsulated and graded by PMG with Very Fine 25.
