Both volumes including content on bank notes (some illustrated in color), obsolete bank notes, Appendix on branch banks, Private and Business Scrip, City and Town Notes, County Notes, and of course Virginia Treasury Notes. An awesome collection on 19th century obsolete currency gathered together in two heavily illustrated volumes! Volume one was only printed in 300 numbered copies. Volume two was printed with only 1000 number copies. The books are in excellent condition. Volume II is signed by the author next to his photo.

The dust jackets have some wear, but are still intact. Please look at photos and judge for yourself.
